Candidates
This November, let’s send a message that we will defend our rights, demand economic and social justice and elect candidates who will stand with us.
Bob Casey for US Senate
Learn More
Bob Casey, a former anti-gun reform, anti-choice candidate turned “aggressive progressive” is running for re-election in the US Senate. As an advocate of ban the box, reducing mandatory minimum sentencing for non-violent offenders, and restoring voting rights to formerly incarcerated people - Casey has a track record of taking a strong stance on criminal justice reform. Casey has stood against Trump’s immigration policies, going so far as to vote in support of Sanctuary cities and joining his constituents at a protest at the Philadelphia International Airport against the Muslim Ban. When it comes to reproductive health, Bob Casey is a supporter of the Affordable Care Act and wants to see Medicaid expansion in Pennsylvania. Despite identifying as a “pro life democrat” - Casey has voted against defunding Planned Parenthood.
Tom Wolf for Governor
Learn More
Tom Wolf is the current Governor of Pennsylvania running for re-election. Wolf is a moderate Democrat who has a poor track record on policing. He has been endorsed by the Pennsylvania FOP and received donations from multiple police/prison associations. During his tenure as Governor, Wolf has stood against Trump’s immigration policies - going so far as to refuse sending PA National Guard troops to the US-Mexico border. Under Wolf’s leadership, Medicaid expansion was facilitated throughout the state under the Affordable Care Act. Wolf is a pro choice candidate that has actively vetoed state legislation seeking to reduce access to abortion for women across the state. Governor Wolf supports increasing the minimum wage in PA to $12 an hour and is endorsed by the SEIU PA State Council, UAW members in PA, and the PA AFL-CIO.
