Stacey Abrams is the democratic candidate for Georgia’s Governor seat. She plans to expand ban the box legislation and emphasizes the need to decriminalize poverty and provide pathways toward restoration for formerly incarcerated people. She supports Medicaid expansion as well as an increase in access to reproductive healthcare for women. In addition to progressive politics on immigration, she plans to make school more accessible to undocumented immigrants. If elected, she will be the first Black woman in the United States to take the seat of Governor. She is the candidate for our people in the state of Georgia.
